Recently a pack a day smoker came into the office for a free screening.  Sadly she couldn’t keep up with her grandchildren and couldn’t even climb a set of stairs without being out of breath.  She said she wanted to stop smoking and enjoy playing with her grandchildren and see them grow up and get married. This smoker had just retired and realized if she didn’t quit smoking she would never be able to enjoy doing all the things she still wanted to do.  Over the years she tried the patch, quit smoking drugs and the gum and nothing worked.  Although she was fed-up with smoking somehow couldn’t quit.  She said she didn’t know if she even believed in hypnosis but was willing to try anything to finally let go of the debilitating habit.
